-
- As I understand it from inquiries to Supra and from just getting one (recieved
- Friday from Computability, $255 + $9 shipping):
-
- It has every feature that the 28.8 SupraFAXModem has.
-
- It adds the fancier display.
-
- It also adds voice-mail functions. (As I understand it, it does not include
- DSVD).
-
- (It also comes with a headset, a telephone cable, a modem-to-computer cable,
- and a headset jack Y adapter. (Voice and fax software, of course.))
-
- You're right, it's 28.8, not 33.6. Its name is "SupraSonic 288V+" -- maybe
- you're thinking of that plus ("+").
-
- I can't yet comment much on how well it works; I'm having a little trouble
- getting set up. (It seems to be changing the DTE speed at what seems to me
- to be a strange time (see my Saturday posting). I'm waiting to hear from
- Supra what's normal, if I need to set anything, and whether anything's wrong
- with the modem.)
